Maryland

Maryland became the seventh state on April 28, 1788. It is the eighth smallest state in the country, but still a great place to find a Personal Injury Lawyer. The 17th largest port in the United States, the Helen Delich Bentley Port of Baltimore, is located in Maryland. Baltimore is the largest city in the state, while Annapolis is the capital city. Maryland has several nicknames, including Old Line State, Little America and America in Miniature. The Chesapeake Bay almost divides Maryland in half and it has even been argued that Maryland’s nickname should be the Bay State (although that name is already held by Massachusetts). Maryland’s state bird is the Baltimore Oriole and the state crustacean is the Maryland Blue Crab.
