Hire Ogletree Abbott immediately. Do not wait. I really tried to do everything directly with Workers Comp but found that for the first 9 mos. I was alone in my efforts. I didn’t like the Dr.’s that had been assigned to me and could not get new Dr.’s. I finally gave in and called Ogletree Abbott to represent me. My workers comp adjuster reamed me out for hiring an attorney and advised that an attorney could not help me get a new Dr. and if they had told me they could then they were lying. Well I have great news. Not only did Adrienne Gasser, my attorney at Ogletree Abbott, get me a new Dr. she also had payments coming in almost immediately and helped me with everything I needed to do to get things moving along. I have had the shoulder surgery I needed and am going through physical therapy. My recommendation is not to wait to hire Ogletree Abbott to represent you. Hire immediately and do not use Workman comps recommended Dr.’s. Do not do it on your own, it is a nightmare. Thank you Ogletree Abbott and Adrienne Gasser for your great work.

Worker Comp By AM Parker I am very glad that I chose Ogletree Abbott to represent me in my case to receive medical treatment for my injury sustained on April 18, 2009. Not having worked for a big corporate company before, I Iearned finally after 11 months that the only way to get what was necessary to improve my health was to hire a very good law firm which was recommended by the orthopedic surgeon that confirmed my injury. Ogletree Abbott managed to find a new treating doctor, compensation pay and approval for a MRI of my injured shoulder. I was almost there to get treatment. Workers comp I’m very pleased with Monica Escamilla, thank you Ogletree and Abbott very much so. Monica was always very prompt and thorough in her explanations about everything. My case was a different kind, as the company did not believe that I had hurt my back and I was not receiving any money. I was off for a whole year with no compensation, had spent everything I had and everything was going so slow. After one year since my injury, I finally got some compensation. I had been at that job for over five years and never missed a day or was late. The company did not believe me and thanks to Monica and Ogletree and Abbott, I finally am getting help with my back pain and maybe I can get back to work sometime SOON!!!!!. My Angle, Adrienne Gasser I haired Ogletree Abbott law firm in 2009 after I had been injured and let go from the company I was working for. I hurt my shoulder and had to have surgery. After I was out of work for 11 weeks I got a certified letter form the comapny that I was employed at and worked for 10 year’s letting me go, due to the fact that a family member has been sick and I had been out of work for 12 week? It was me that was hurt while I was working for them not a family member. So I hired Ogletree Abbott Law firm. IT WAS THE BEST THING I COULD OF DONE. Honest Hard Working Lawyers I can get my lawyer on the phone. There is just about always someone there to help you even if it is one of the other lawyers. When I ask a question I get an honest answer, not some BS. They always know what they are talking about because I have checked. When I went down for my hearing the people who work at the workers comp treated them with respect and my lawyer was a lot more prepared than the insurance lawyer. It was funny how my lawyer made their lawyer look stupid! LOL.

Not a Law Firm, but a Legal Friend People I can talk to, ask questions, and call on when I go into panic mode. That’s how I know I made the right choice using Ogletree Abbott. After being hurt and cut off of my workers’ comp check, my little dog became very ill. She needed an operation, and I had NO MONEY. We prayed the Lord would send the angels out to find the money to save my poor little dog’s life. The next morning, Mr. Abbott called to say there had been an error and they had not paid me correctly. I would have a check in a few days. When I told him what had happened, I believe this man laughed and cried with me. God bless Mr. Abbott and the wonderful people at Ogletree Abbott Law Firm. Little Sugar is doing well. Texas Worker’s Comp is very hard to cope with – this firm WILL HAVE YOUR BACK!!! Let’s face it – - being hurt sucks….You tend to be in pain ALL THE TIME; Doctor’s are talking Greek (okay, Latin) to you; and the Insurance Company could care less about any of your issues. I can tell you that I’ve been lay ed up for almost 19 months – a client of Ogeltree Abbott’s for 18 months, so far. To be honest, there was an attorney that worked there, when I first hired the firm, that was not a good attorney! As soon as Mr. Abbott heard my concerns he stepped up and I was given my current attorney – - as well as Mr. Abbott’s firm commitment and assurance that I mattered. It’s amazing how great it feels to hear that statement, and actually believe the person saying it to you. I was, at first, hesitant to trust anyone at their office, but within a week of that conversation I knew – SOMEONE FINALLY HAD MY BACK!!!! Everyone that has helped me (and trust me, I’ve needed help) since that day, over a year ago, has been truly concerned about not only my physical, but also my mental well being. Difficult Texas Worker’s Comp Case I have been extremely pleased with the handling of my on going Worker’s Comp case with Ogeltree Abbot’s Law Firm. The staff has been friendly, courteous and very responsive to all of my questions and needs. My case is a worker’s comp case and I know I would not be able to negotiate the many land mines that have and will be part of my case without them. Texas Worker’s Comp is very hard to get through without someone helping you along the way and so far they have been very helpful and knowledgeable. They make it extremely difficult to get services and traverse through the hoops that they make you go through to get surgery and therapy needs. It has been almost a year and I am finally having my surgery tomorrow thanks to them.

An ordeal, life changes I was injured on June 2008, and tried to be a good employee only to find out, my employer did not care at all. Ogletree Abbott are good Jones Act Lawyers I hurt my back and had an operation because I fell on an offshore oil rig in the Gulf. Ogletree and Abbott drove up to my house in East Texas and talked to me and my wife about the Jones Act and were very professional and easy to talk with. My company had offered me $10000 to settle but after I hired these lawyers I got $300000!!! I’ve heard of other guys who got nailed by their company and I’m sure glad I didn’t. You know they wrote the book on Jones Act and they federal express a copy the day after I first called in to ask a question.

Workers comp case My name is Jose R. Araujo and I was hurt on the job while working at Walmart Distribution Center. When I got hurt I was going to the company doctor and dealing with the workers comp adjuster, when I had questions they never took the time to answer them and when they did they only spoke in code to me, so I ended up with more questions. Nothing but frustration, depression,confusion, and denial. The help I needed In August of 2008 I was injured at my job. This was the first time I had ever been hurt at work. I had no idea what to do and contacted several lawyers and was told they could not help me. The need for a good law firm is or should be at the top of your list if you are injured at work because all the rules change. I highly recommend Ogletree & Abbott. I am able to get answers to questions I have very quickly and this gives a great amount of comfort during a very unfortunate time.
